Davido is heading to the beach in Accra. The Nigerian Afrobeats star has been unveiled as the headline act for Tidal Rave 2026, which takes place on Saturday, 14 November, at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, with Ghanaian hitmakers Kwesi Arthur, Kweku Smoke and Lasmid also on the bill, as reported by Graphic Online and MyJoyOnline.
The festival confirmed the news in a post on X on Wednesday, 4 November, sharing a flyer that bills Davido for the “Rave Takeover”. “NO 30BG LEFT BEHIND! @davido IS IN TOWN!” the organisers wrote, a nod to the star’s 30BG movement.
Curated by EchoHouse and billed as Africa’s biggest beach festival, this year’s Tidal Rave runs under the theme “No Raver Left Behind”, which puts friendship and togetherness at the centre of the day. Tickets are available on the festival’s website, tidalravefestival.com, or by dialling *714*20#.
“Every friend group has its characters. The one who starts the plans, the one who gets everyone on board, the one who handles the food, and the one who makes sure nobody misses out,” said Awo Somuah-Ampadu, Regional Lead of Echo Live at EchoHouse, according to GhanaWeb.
EchoHouse CEO Beryl Agyekum Ayaaba added: “Tidal Rave has always been about bringing young people together through experiences that stay with them. With #NoRaverLeftBehind, we want to put the friendships behind those experiences in the spotlight.”
Johnnie Walker returns with its own brand experience, while Blue Jeans joins the festival for the first time. Coca-Cola is also back, with Nescafé, *959#, Pepsodent and Munchee among the other brand partners, Graphic Online reports.
Davido’s booking adds star power to a line-up that was already building momentum. As we reported last month, Kwesi Arthur was confirmed for the festival in October. The Davido announcement quickly got fans talking on X, with many already planning which friends they will bring along to La Palm.
