Nacee has unveiled a packed line-up of gospel musicians, actors and comedians for KAVOD 26, the second edition of his music, theatre and comedy show, which takes place at the National Theatre in Accra on Sunday, 8 November 2026.
As reported by MyJoyOnline, the musical line-up features Nacee himself alongside Soul Winners, Cindy Thompson, Kofi Peprah, Yvonne Mends and Joe Mettle. The theatre segment will feature Vivian Jill, Killer Ntua, Clemento Suarez, Foster Romanus, Deaconess Abokoma, Jeneral Ntatia and DeLong, among others, while the comedy line-up includes Jacinta, Parrot Mouth, Jeffrey Nortey, Comedy Boy and Visa Boy, Adam Best and G.H. Pookie.
Nacee first announced the show in a post on X, describing it as “a blend of laughter, drama and music”. The event starts at 5pm, with Standard tickets at GH¢200 and VIP tickets at GH¢300. Tickets are available on 0597143961.
KAVOD returns almost three years after its maiden edition at the National Theatre in November 2023, when Nacee introduced a format that went beyond a typical gospel concert. That first night, MyJoyOnline reported, combined live music with a stage play inspired by his own journey, from his humble beginnings and early struggles to his work across gospel and secular music.
One of the most talked-about moments came from comedians Foster Romanus and Clemento Suarez, who acted out a fictional radio debate about Nacee’s collaboration with rapper Guru on “Boys Boys”. The show peaked when Nacee rose from beneath the stage dressed in white to perform live. Gospel stars Sonnie Badu, Empress Gifty and Piesie Esther were among the guests that night.
Both Foster Romanus and Clemento Suarez are back for this year’s edition, which is being promoted under the tagline “KAVOD 26: Where Comedy Meets Theatre and Music”. In the run-up to the show, Nacee has been sharing clips from the first edition on his social media pages, including one of him singing his first composed song to his family elders on stage.
With Joe Mettle, Cindy Thompson and Soul Winners on the bill, KAVOD 26 is shaping up to be one of the biggest gospel nights on this year’s calendar.
