Hiplife legends Tic Tac, Reggie Rockstone and Obrafour are set to share one stage in Accra. The three will headline Energy Night at ZEN Garden, Labone, on Saturday, 21 November, as confirmed by Tic Tac in a post on X and reported by GhanaWeb.
In that post on X on 25 October, Tic Tac billed the night as “THREE GLOBAL ICONS. ONE STAGE. ONE CHILLZ,” naming Obrafour and Reggie Rockstone alongside himself and pointing fans to ZEN Garden in Labone from 8 pm. The official flyer shared with the announcement lists the start time as 8:30 pm and carries the venue’s contact line, 0244 933 339.
Reggie Rockstone is widely credited with helping to popularise hiplife in the 1990s by blending hip-hop with Ghanaian highlife and local languages. Obrafour built his name on Twi lyricism that still shapes Ghanaian rap, while Tic Tac remains one of the genre’s most recognisable voices from that era. GhanaWeb describes the concert as a nostalgic night of timeless hiplife classics for fans who grew up on their catalogues.
Seeing all three on one bill is rare, especially as Afrobeats and Afropop have dominated Ghana’s mainstream stages in recent years. Nights like this put the pioneers of hiplife back in front of crowds that still know every hook. The flyer lists sponsors including Gennex Pizza, Rockz Waakye, Planta Organics, Wahala Entertainment and Execution Entertainment.
The booking adds another major live date to Accra’s busy November calendar, as classic hiplife fans look for a chance to hear the soundtrack of a generation performed live in Labone.
