Gyakie has stepped up the build-up to her December concert, unveiling striking new artwork with the tagline “The Silence Ends Here”. The singer shared the poster on Sunday, 1 November, telling fans that a night they “definitely don’t want to miss” is on its way.
In a post on X, the “Forever” hitmaker wrote: “after three years of being off the grid, we’re back and better than before. A night you definitely don’t want to miss is on its way. Are you ready?”
The artwork shows a hand with brightly decorated nails raised against a glowing sunset, framed by hummingbirds and thorny vines. It does not carry ticket or line-up details, but it marks the first official visual for the show.
The date and venue were confirmed last month. MyJoyOnline reported that Gyakie announced 12 December for the return of Gyakie Live during an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, hosted by Kwame Dadzie and Doreen Avio, on Monday, 19 October. The concert is set for Ghud Park, which 3News places at the Accra Mall.
According to 3News, the singer describes the show as a comeback and an opportunity to thank her fans for their support. She has also promised a steady rollout of new music, live performances and exclusive content as the date approaches. MyJoyOnline said further details on tickets and other arrangements are expected to be announced in due course.
The poster lands during a busy season for Gyakie. Her latest single, “Your Body (Crazy)”, arrived in October, and you can watch the official video here on Ghanamotion. She was also recently named a mentor for the Martell Swift Academy in Accra alongside M.anifest and Juls.
Fans were quick to share the artwork on X on Sunday, with many reposting it alongside the 12 December date and calling for a big turnout at Ghud Park. With December already filling up with concerts in Accra, the singer’s team will now be expected to reveal ticketing and supporting acts in the coming weeks.
