Broadcaster Andy Dosty and technology journalist Kwabena Nkrumah are among five speakers lined up for the 2026 Ghana DJ Clinic, which takes place on Wednesday, 25 November, at the British Council in Accra.
The line-up was announced on Monday, 2 November, by organisers Merqury Republic, in details published by MyJoyOnline. The clinic is part of the build-up to the 2026 Ghana DJ Awards and is aimed at DJs, aspiring disc jockeys and music professionals looking to build successful, sustainable careers in a fast-changing entertainment industry.
This year’s sessions run under the awards’ overall theme, “All Out”, and focus on the business side of the job as much as the music: personal branding, technology, fashion, money management and technical skills.
Andy Dosty will open up on building a DJ brand that attracts fans, sponsors and opportunities. Kwabena Nkrumah’s session covers artificial intelligence, music rights and copyright for the digital DJ, a timely topic as AI tools become more common in music.
Calvin Allen Agbenyo will speak on how fashion, image and stage presence shape a DJ’s brand, while Rexford Jones Baffoe will lead a session on financial literacy, managing income and building long-term wealth from DJing. Victor Apeke rounds off the programme with a hands-on demonstration of DJ techniques and equipment use.
According to the organisers, the clinic is designed to help DJs exchange ideas, learn from experienced professionals and better understand the business of their craft, with a focus on turning DJs into well-rounded creative entrepreneurs.
The 2026 Ghana DJ Awards grand finale is scheduled for Friday, 4 December, at the Palms Convention Centre in Accra, where outstanding DJs and industry contributors will be honoured. Registration details for the clinic were not included in the announcement; the organisers run a dedicated Ghana DJ Clinic website.
