Kwesi Arthur is heading back to the beach. The Tema-born rapper has been confirmed for Tidal Rave 2026, which takes place on Saturday, 14 November at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, with the festival billing his set as a “Rave Takeover”.
The organisers made the announcement on Monday, 26 October, in a post on X that introduced him as coming “all the way from Tema, the son of Jacob”. “You already know, never switch up on your team. Your day ones need to be there for this one,” the post read, under this year’s theme, #NoRaverLeftBehind.
Kwesi Arthur wasted no time reacting. Within minutes he shared the announcement in a post on X, captioned simply with three volcano emojis, and the post quickly drew thousands of likes from fans.
According to the official Tidal Rave website, the festival runs from 12 PM to midnight. General Admission starts at GHC400 for a Solo Raver pass, with group bundles that bring the cost down to GHC300 per person for a crew of five. VIP passes start at GHC700, while the All In tier, which includes food and drinks, starts at GHC900. The official flyer also lists a *714*20# shortcode for tickets.
The booking marks a return to the Tidal Rave stage for the “Grind Day” rapper. At the 2024 edition, as GhanaWeb and YEN reported, he delivered an energetic set that included “The Anthem”, and memorably paused to prepare and eat gari soakings on stage.
He arrives this time with a new body of work behind him. His eight-track album Redemption Valley was released on 6 February 2026, and the festival slot gives fans a chance to hear those records live by the sea. With a little over two weeks to go, the clock is ticking for ravers to round up their day ones.
