Kojo Cue and Shaker are staging a Pen & Paper II listening party at Beer Garden in Accra tonight, Friday 6 November. The rap duo confirmed the date in a post on X, inviting Accra to the PP2 session, with further details also reported by The Vaultz News and GH Today.
Coverage of the night points to an 8:00 p.m. start at Beer Garden, with some promo versions listing 7:00 p.m. as doors. The evening is powered by DMI World and The Playlist Party and is framed as an intimate first listen rather than a full concert, with the artists present as the project is played for the room.
Pen & Paper II is the sequel to the pair’s 2017 collaborative album Pen & Paper, a project still cited for its lyricism and cultural weight in Ghanaian hip-hop. The follow-up has been teased for months, including onstage signals at Kojo Cue’s For My Brothers II concert, when both artists appeared in Pen & Paper II sweatshirts, and through the warm-up EP This Trip, which featured the title track and Seen Dreams with Titi Owusu.
Kojo Cue, also known as KANI, and Shaker have kept a close creative partnership across years of Ghanaian rap. A listening-party format lets fans hear the new work together before a wider streaming push, in a city venue that has hosted similar community sessions mixing music, talk and crowd energy.
Organisers and the artists have presented the night as a chance for Accra’s rap community to gather around a long-awaited sequel rather than wait for chart metrics alone. Further running-order or guest details may still emerge, but the core invite is clear: Beer Garden, Accra, Friday 6 November, for Pen & Paper II.
