Stonebwoy is heading home to the Volta Region for this year’s Hogbetsotso festival. The dancehall star announced in a post on X on Tuesday, 3 November, that he will perform live at Lalana Beach in Anloga on Saturday, 7 November.
“Volta Region, Nukedzor? I coming home for the Biggest festival.. HOGBETSOTSO this weekend!” he wrote, urging fans to “Pull Up with the Right energy”. The flyer he shared bills the show as the Hogbetsotso Festival with Stonebwoy performing live, starting at 8pm.
According to the flyer, the event is powered by Superb Events, with Red Bull, Lalana Beach Anloga, ZM Promotions and Superb Enclave listed as sponsors. Ticket prices had not been announced in the post.
Hogbetsotso is the annual festival of the Anlo people, celebrated in Anloga in the Volta Region, and it draws visitors from across Ghana and the diaspora each November. Stonebwoy, born Livingstone Etse Satekla, is of Anlo heritage and often speaks proudly of his Volta roots, making the beach show something of a homecoming.
The appearance also comes in a busy season for the Volta music scene. Fellow Volta act Edem recently postponed Edemfest 2026, though his Hogbe Health Walk, billed on his flyer for Friday, 6 November, remains on the calendar.
Later in the year, Stonebwoy also has his BHIM Festival to deliver. As we reported last week, his team has defended moving this year’s edition from the Accra Sports Stadium to the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, saying the change is part of a bigger plan rather than a retreat.
For fans in the Volta Region, though, the immediate focus is Saturday night at Lalana Beach, where Stonebwoy will be performing on home soil during one of the biggest weekends on the Anlo calendar.
